it is a third party application that the T5 doesn't like. I would strongly suggest you do a hard reset. Prior to the hard reset, you need to go to the palm files on your computer.
Find the Backup folder. Rename it Backup.old. Make sure your hotsync application is running.
Next performing the actual hardset. With a paper clip or something of that narrow nature that is
NOT pointed, hold down the power button in one hand while out the paper clip into the reset hole on the back of the device. Do not keep the paper clip in there long, just long enough to push it in enough to hit the reset button. Continue holding down the power button until you see the screen that says "Palm Powered." Once you see this, let go of the power button.
Once you get to this step, you will be asked if you want to erase the device. Using the center button on your device, push up and perform a complete erase. Go through the steps to step up the device.
Resynchorize your device. Add one a few applications at a time, if you have the patience, it is preferrable that you load one at a time. In this process you will be able to discover what third party application caused the problem.
There are applications that the T5 doesn't like. You can go to this link
http://www.palmfocus.com/tt5software.asp to give you a list of many third party compatible applications that the T5 will tolerate. This list isn't 100%, but it sure is comphresensive.
