Light Period and Negative Pregnancy Test?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. This month I noticed a very light period where i would only notice some blood on the tp when I wipe and very little spotting otherwise. It only lasted 2 days. My regular period is usually about 4 days long with the first two days being very heavy. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. Its now been a week since my light period and I have been cramping and have been very gassy especially after dinner. I notice some white mucous discharge with my early morning pee.I did another pregnancy test but it still came negative.

Any help on whats is going on??
 
You probably just ovulated late. I am goiing through the same thing, but I am waiting a few days to take another test since my other ones were negative. It takes some time for the preg. hormone to build up. Test in about a week or so with morning urine. Hopefully we will both get the results we want. Good Luck
 
With my first, I took 3 pregnancy tests (including 2 from the doctor's office) and they all came out negative. I had to have a blood test in order to confirm my pregnancy. As with the spotting, it is very common for women to have their period during pregnancy especially if it is much lighter and they do not have a regular cycle to begin with. My mother bleed during all four of her pregnancies and each one was a healthy one. Talk to your doctor. You may need a blood test.
