from experience, the 4.0 straight six will last for a loooong time. Although they have been known to have transmission problems, especially automatics. Of course you must remember all cars require maintenance. If you drive the car right, change the oil, air/fuel filters and have the required work done when needed, most cars will last quite a long time. Hope this helps!!
