Libs said you couldn't judge, (or blame) Obama by a tanking Dow, but now that it's up...

...he gets the credit? Will he still get the credit, and blame, when it tanks again? Or will that be somebody elses fault, as it was before? My guess it that the Libs will want to divert attention away from Hussein when that happens...maybe another good story about Palin's daughter (but of course, not one about Biden's daughter), or perhaps they will want to resume braying about the evils of "talk radio." But Hussein will be free and clear. I can hardly wait.

That was Rush Limbaugh's idea. He blamed the falling DOW on Obama even before he was elected. By that twisted logic you have no choice but to give him credit when it goes up. Thank the head of the Republican Party for proposing such a stupid concept that makes him and all his supporters look foolish.

Well, I don't think he should get credit or blame for the stock market, but since it was all going downhill until he came into office, (and may start going downhill again at any moment) i guess if we're placing blame and giving credit-then yes, he should get the credit and get the blame if it goes down again.

It does go both ways, when the market was booming for 6 years under Bush the libs were very quiet, once it started declining they all blamed him. Once he left office the Conservatives blamed Obama for it's continued decline the libs said it was still Bush's fault, now that it is rebounding the libs want to give Obama all the credit. Well the fact is the President has next to nothing to do to influence the market.

That's the game we play here. And you know, it happens on both sides. The conservatives blame him when it goes down, but give him no credit when it goes up.

You can give him the credit or blame if you want. I think that most (libs and cons both) believe that a president doesn't have that much control over the markets.

You are just trying to dream up conspiracies.
