Liam Neeson-Most overlooked movie star ?

maybe - but if he has, i think to be fair to him he's really come of age - if you think back to much earlier in the career when he used to play all those goofy, young kind of roles.

Schindler's List, for one. He should have won the Best Actor oscar for that film instead of Tom Hanks for that sentimental Hollywood-does-AIRAB pile of shite Philadelphia.

Michael Collins, too - He's superb in that.

Rob Roy - A cheesy film, but he's the standout.

Kinsey - Another great performance.

Sorry - Anyone who doesn't think he's a good actor is talking nonsense and should watch the above films.
 
Thats a bit harsh and I still think its a matter of taste as I said in an earlier post. If someone isn't a fan of a particular actor they are hardly going to subject themselves into watching more of their films. :)
 
I first saw him in women of substance where he played 'blackie' i thought he was very good in that,

he was also good in schindlers list and under suspicion, although he's not the greatest actor who ever lived he has had his moments and i still enjoy watching him.
 
I do agree to an extent, I mean he has appeared in the Star Wars saga, the new Batman and is Alsan in the Chronicles of Narnia. I think only Christopher Lee equals him for the amount of big franchises- Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, James Bond.
 
You don't have to be a fan of an actor to recognise they are still talented. I personally can't stand Tom Cruise, but I acknowledge he does have some acting talent, as exemplified by A Few Good Men, Born on the Fourth of July and War of the WorlRAB. Someone may not be a fan of Liam Neeson, but it goes beyond pettiness not to admit he's a good actor.
 
I have always appreciated Laim Neeson's acting ability since I first saw him play a young disillusioned priest in 'Lamb'. He was also good in the film 'Nell' with Jodie Foster but she totally outshone the whole cast to be honest.
I do think he has been pipped at the post in a number of high profile roles that have gone to more A list actors which is a pity as he could have also done justice to such parts.
