LGV X9700 Dare, Do's,Donts,and Help

Ok ive seen many started stuff on this phone and so forth and after killing mine, i want to see what everyone knows and if anyone knows how to bring one back to life.

PRL editing can be done with out killing the phone,
MIP Editing can be done with out killing the phone
WAP, can not be editied
Everyone says use the VX9100 DLL and i did and the phone was killed using this DLL, for those who claim who have i would like to see maybe a video of you doing this and or want to know what Version of the VX9100 DLL you are using.
I have also heard that the VX10000 might work however with a Dead VX9700 i cant seem to be able to test it out.

I did bring my phone back to life about 5 times befor it just gave out, it was very hard to do, using Bitpim i was able to get a copy of the fileBD on there and get it to work, however when i tried to do it about the 6th or so time the Bitpim program wont read the phone it sees it but it tried to Dected what kind of phone it is, even tho i dont want it to do that, i just want it to ready the file system, the trick is that it will only see the phone for about 5sec's befor the phone restarts and then i have to wait until it comes up again, however this time around its just not doing it,

Any ideas on how to bring this thing to life?

P.S i think i found a way to get WAP, MMS to work with out killing the phone but i need to bring it back to life.
 
I did a Dare recently. You should use the same instructions as the vx10000 Voyager tutorial. And yes, I used the vx9100 .DLL, care of Humpa.

If BitPim is giving you issues, use either LG Download's NV Editor OR UniCDMA to put the phone into Offline-D mode and DM mode FIRST, then use QPST's EFS Explorer. (I personally prefer UniCDMA for suspending the phones I flash.)

All the settings were the same as the vx10000 tutorial. WAP and MMS worked flawlessly.
 
Ok the DLL's i did get from Humpa, and even the VX1k DLL which i have used on the VX1K itself if i edit the WAP on the phone using the PST it gets the phone stuck, however if i get the file hex edit it works just fine, so thats odd on that part, ill have to check it, it could be that my PST is outdated as well, im starting to think that. *sigh* well live and learn, and Amo ill send you the phone if you can fix it lol
 
For LG Download, I use nothing but the old standby: Version 1.3.6.3 Pro.

Only thing is, after you've added so many .DLL's, you can't "force" it to a specific one. But otherwise it works like a charm.
 
What OS are you running? Vista or XP? If you're running Vista, you might have better luck using XP. I would also try running the programs in "compatibility mode", Windows NT/2000, disabling themes and advanced text services.
 
if anyone can help iv tried many different things iv had the lg dare vx9700 for a couple weekes i got the flash to cricket but not wap or mms. i have read and read but ever thing is a dead end. i used bitpim and hex editor to unlock the phone some what. i can change the info in the ##program9700 wap settings and so on, but when i go to use the lg downloader and open the nv editor the fileRAB that need to be changed are locked (and grey not white). i tried to use the vx 10000 and 9900 tutorials but they dont work, but they have got me almost there im just missing one step. iv read and got the correct prl but still i just need a lil better guidence for the dare i cant seem to get the other phones tuts to match up with the vx9700 will anyone help please im not a person that has not tried and tried to do it from the forums before aking for help but they just dont connect with the dare vx9700
