Lgnpst Please Help!!!

I have been working on this for close to 12 hours and I'm about to throw my laptop out the window. I am trying to run LGNPST 1.2 and it comes up fine. Then when i try to get the settings for the phone it says windows has to close the program. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling hundreRAB of times. I've done it every concievable way. I'm not trying to be lazy I have searched for possible errors and found nothing to help. I am running windows 7 64bit. I saw where people had problems installing dll. files, but I'm not having any issues with those. It's this f#$%& program thats killing me! Any worRAB of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. The task i'm trying to do is flash a chocolate 3. Thanks again. :doh:

:^/ Most of the popular PST's were created in the days of WindowsXP or thereabouts. Windows 7 likely requires some sort of interaction that older applications weren't written to support.

Try it on a junker charity thrift store laptop and Windows 2000 or XP and you may get better results.

I'm also having trouble with settings.I have lgnpst lab version 1.2 installed everything seems to be working except I'm not finding a settings tab anywhere i can see the phone info & I see provision with upgrade,binary,script,prl & emergency emergency is greyed out this is my first time using lgnpst is there something i did wrong or missed? any help would be appreciated

I have Lab Version 1.1 and the right DLL for a vx11000 (Env Touch). LGPST picks up the phone and shows "Standby" in yellow bar. All the other info is on left hand side including DLL; so I'm guessing thats telling me all is fine w/ my dll registry. I have the generic 2029 in the vx11000 folder(Although it errors out when I try and register it, but I never read anywhere you had to register the generic). So everthing looks fine. I press the Phone Settings tab and get this error "ERROR: Unable to load [UtilCom] Component". Anyone have any ideas. I've been searching all over HoFo and the web for days! HELP!!!
