ok so making a long story short, i had sex with a guy, we were both black out wasted, and he didn't use a condom.

i asked him when the last time he had unprotected sex was.
he said at least four months before. i made him get tested and he was negative. he gave me the results so i know he went to get tested. i figured i was ok.

a few weeks later i get sick, i didnt think much of it, but then i did some research and the symptoms i had were the same (with the exception of few) as someone who has just gotten infected with HIV. i went to the doctor and he said that he thought i had mono, he did a mono test and i was negative. he gave me the mono medicine anyways because he was pretty sure that it was mono. the medicine made me better.

while at the doctor i got tested for HIV (approx. 7 weeks after my possible exposure)
i was negative. but i knew i was still in the window period.

i talked to the guy who i had sex with (we are friends) and he said that he had gotten tested a week before to follow up his last test and he was waiting for his results.
he was negative again.

im getting tested again monday. should i be worried?

he is the only guy who could have infected me. (and only way)

when i got sick the only symptoms i had were fatigue and sore throat and some body ache, but the night before i had gone to a concert, i was drinking, and i was wearing shorts and a t-shirt while it was like 40 degrees outside.

am i just overly worried?
this Monday when i get tested it will have been about 3.5 months after the exposure.
