LG Xenon wont download photo?

My LG xenon gets a mms sometimes and it just downloads on its own. Well for some reason a photo that I received says 'GET' and then downloading..well I wait and wait and wait,and finally it downloads,but then it says I cant receive it! Ive been able to get MMS before and Ive had to use the download thing before,but I was near a tower. I have the same amount of bars that I did when I was by the ATT tower? Whats going on?
 
I have the same phone, and sometimes it happens to me too. Pictures have a certain time when they are valid to download, and for some reason the time is a small period. It often does happen to me when it finally gets to the point where it downloads it doesn't work. I'm not sure why it happens, but you could try visiting your local AT & T store, or calling the customer support number. They are always helpful!
