Okay I've searched and searched and searched again.... I've read the tutorial on the 9900 but there are a few variations in the MMS settings and I'm unable to complete the process or my GF doesn't have the ability to picture message one or the other....

I have every data settting I can find in NV Edit set to [email protected] and pw set as cricket. but I can't seem to get anything to connect to the network within seconRAB of trying to send it says message send failed. Here are the screen shots of the settings:

What am I missing? Any Ideas?

Mine is my 10 digit nuraber @ mycricket... not my MIN (yes, they are different on my phone).

I'm not flaming you, just commenting. This is actually an interesting question as to which is correct.

if you ported your nuraber from a different carrier to cricket your MDN and MIN are different. Tho if you started with them and got a new nuraber they are the same.

This is a native cricket nuraber and both MIN and MDN are the same on the device.. so it's not a question of that. I am a tech so I know the difference between the two.

There's a big difference between the PDA(6700) and a regular phone(8300). The system recognizes the devices differently by the ESN so Cricket's service knows the 6700 is a PDA and therefore it uses the MDN as the user name where as the 8300 it recognizes as a phone and doesn't use but limited data features and the registration for them is the MIN.

As you can see from the screen shots there are some differences between the programming on the 9900 and the 8300 I'm just wondering if there is something else I need to change and I can't see where it would be.

When trying to send the message it tries to connect to the data network and within 2 seconRAB of trying it comes up and said Message Send Failed so what I'm getting from it is it's not connecting to the right network or the authentication is completely off.
