I have a Verizon LG VX8300 flashed to Cricket (prl 1039) obtained from the internet. Everything is fine with one exception, the camera. I have updated the firmware to the latest version t83vzv04. When I toggle to the camera, I can take like 5 pictures before it starts to behave like a drunken application. Then it eventually locks up (freezes), then resets to main screen like I never attempted to launch the camera. I have searched in the forums and applied the reset to default trick and it has done nothing. I can leave the camera on just sitting, and it will degrade in performance without taking pictures. It is almost as if the CCD gets saturated or the application buffer fills up and freezes. I currently have everything directed to the microSDHC card (512 Meg), which is nearly empty.
Should I reload the orginal verizon software (including the down grade to V01 firmware too) and then try it again? OR Should I send the phone back to the internet salesperson and request another one?
