Yes. Open up PST and click file-> open. Go to CDMA PRL. Open the fiel and then click write to phone. IF you want the enter in the data manuallly, go to file-> new, then CDMA PRL. Copy the info in then write to phone. Hope this helps?

I think I juist bricked my first phone fellas. :erabaresse I changed the prl on a vx5200 using bitpim. Then I pressed Menu and seven 0's to get to the programming menu to check to see if I had done it correctly and I dont know what I did but when I exited out of the menu it reset itself and now its stuck in a reset loop. It powers on like it going to start up and then turns off and does it over and over. Im pretty sure I didnt change anything in the programming menu as I made sure I hit cancel when I exited to make sure something like this didnt happen. Any ideas on what I did wrong and if its fixable or did I just brick my first phone?

So I probably did fry it eh??? I swear Ive been reading on various sites for the past 2 days and I read somewhere to overwrite the prl in the nvm folder with the new prl and that what I did. I probably shouldnt of cuz no one ever replied to that thread and it was over a year old. Ill try and find it again but am not positive what site it was on.

I tried using LG Download 1.3.6.3 and QPST first but couldnt get any to read my phone so I did that bitpim thing as a last resort. So is this phone toast?
