lg voyager, can you take a picture while open and see it on the touchscreen?

my friend has the first lg voyager and she was able to find a way to have the phone open to where the camra and the touch screen are facing her and she can see herself on the big screen while she is taking the picture.i was woundering how do you do that?! please help!
