I have an LG Venus phone, and when I send text messages that are longer than about 130-140 characters, it sends the entire thing as a media message. My brother has the same phone and his messages that exceed 100 characters get sent as multiple messages. I did not change any of the messaging settings on my phone, and we aren't sure how to fix this. I don't want to be sending media messages because they take too long to send and sometimes the person I'm texting doesn't even receive the text. Why would this be happening? Am I able to change it?
