You need to have the latest version of cdma workshop and write in the Decimal MEID (the one that start with A000000) and write it the normal way. If you don't want to spend $100 for the best program out, try QXDM version 3 or higher nv item 1943. Meid Hex write that

And btw, you DONT need the SPC of the phone to flash it.

Simply click "OK" when the SPC field is filled with asterisks (*).

It WILL bypass it.

And if it doesn't, you can either change the spc afterwards or you can manually program the phone.

Also, if you don't have the newest version of CDMA Workshop, then you can edit the WAP settings in LG Download with the 9100 DLL. You will just need to change the homepage through the phone (Menu -> 0 -> SPC -> 8 [WAP setting] -> 5 {Homepage])

I tried to use QXDM but couldnt get it to edit item 1943. I'm still trying to buy the newest version of CDMA Workshop from Amoamare, but he hasnt answered. I know he hates it, but i sent him a last resort PM. But If I dont hear back soon, I'll have to buy it from somewhere else online. I just figured he did all the work and should receive some monetary benefit. OR, maybe I misunderstood him and he doesnt sell it at all... I wish someone could point me in the right direction. Also, anyone know of a total file of all the DLL files I could download. I tried searching and could only find oneseys and twoseys...thanx in advance

YOU DONT BUY CDMA WORKSHOP FROM AMOAMARE!!!!

go to cdma-ware.com. The program ONLY works on the computer hardware id YOU REGISTER IT TO!! Where did u get the idea that amoamare sells that??

I'm not up on the protocol as much as most, but I'm pretty sure using caps in regualr font is yelling; and using huge font is screaming. Certainly my request didnt warrant that reaction. Especially in lieu of the above quote and the fact that all I was trying to do is give monetary thanx to one of the ones who worked hard on this flash... EFFING RELAX!

I saw it on the site you pointed to before, but they also ask for Dealers. I was thinking Amo was one of them; especially since he had a website and it looked like he was trying to sell something there. I figured I would give him the sale. Just trying to do the right thing...AND from what I've seen amongst a lot of leeches, something very rare on HoFo...

Well, I went ahead and orederd the CDMA Workshop yesterday, but still havent seen the link to DL. Anyone know how long these guys take to allow you to DL the program? I thought it was Immediate...

A few days most likely. First they will send you an email with a program that basically get's your hardware key, then you need to email that back to them.

Then after that, they will respond with your key_workshop.dat as an attachment and will include a link inside of the email to where you download your CDMA Workshop for that specific computer.

And I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell...

I love you..... :embaresse

Thats a little creepy...lol...Finally got it and was able to complete my Rumor's esn rewrite. Still trying to figure out this damn Nokia 6205...
But thats another thread

OK...I Flashed an existing Cricket customer's LG vx260 phone to a full flash(He had only a basic flash) I changed all the stuff over and it works perfectly(after saving all his pics and contacts in the phone)
Now I had another customer come ion and buy one of the Rumor's I had already flashed. I called up Cricket and gave them the convereted MEID Dec ESN. After dealing with them for awhile they told me to *228 it. I did and it errored out(the recfording came on and said it couldnt be completed). I then called back CKT CC and reaffirmed the ESN was correct and on his account, and it was. They told me if *228 didnt work it had to be Manually Programmed but they didnt know how. I them used my CDMA WS and went into Nam programming and reset the MIN and DIR. In this case the MIN was diffrent than his regular Number. I had to call back to get that and entered in the MIN and his real phone number. I pressed the write button and it took. I unplugged it and it still didnt work. Nor did the *228. What do I need to do to manual program this phone? Please help. thanx.
