.:: LG RUMOR By amoamare ::..

I dont believe the rumor (or rumor 2 for that matter) supports EVDO. Don't know who's bright idea that was but thats what seems to be the case.

correct, lol thank you for correcting that... stick to what i said a few posts before. load appropriate prl, stop loading 1050. Most people I've seen trying to load 1050 and have issues. use something like 1039 or 1042.

i have a rumor that the wap doesn't work anymore i checked on the wap setting the wap password is empty and there is no way for me to rewrite cricket on the phone , is there anyway that i can set the wap password to cricket back again?
Thanks in advance.

NV Edit doesn't work it reads the phone but nothing else happens it doesn't dive me any option to edit anything, run SCR only and that should fix the WAP?
Thanks.

Run the SCR (will fix majority of phones) then edit authentication logins with cdma workshop if your nv edit doesn't not show up.

First off, amo, great work. Thanks for releasing it. I have read thru the whole forum and it is truly an exercise in comedy. It's comedic at times, the back and forth between all us characters here and in other posts.Tempers rage, feelings get "hoyt", ego's inflate.... it's the perfect setting for a short comedy! I think someone should skim thru the whole forums and come up with a small animated short about the whole underground flashing business. Something like a parody to Gone in 60 seconds or so..."we've got to flash 100 phones by midnight, but we don't have any cables!!!" ..."and the vaio just took a dump!!" .....and Mr. Random is NOT cooperating!!".... carry on.....

I have found that when the wap gives out, it is because in the wap settings (Menu, 000000, 8 for Wap settings)
The username for internet has reverted to the MIN, and the password disappears.
I edited the param. file to try to make theusername editable in the service programming menu, but it was a no-go.
Everytime my wap gives out the rumor, I re-load the eri and scr and then re-write the wap settings with lg download using the 9100 dll (as previously described in page 2 i think)
Please dont tell me the username doesnt matter- it does. Its the reason wap gives out.
Has any one been able to figure out how to make the wap settings editable manualy in the service programming menu?
Thanks

Ok I'm stepping in now because people are giving off wrong information like said above user.....

ITS NOT THE USERNAME AND PASSWORD

ITS THE WAP.MYCRICKET.COM

it gets reverted back to 0.0.0.0
You can edited it right on the phone by going to the service programming menu and changing the data field's from 0.0.0.0 to wap.mycricket.com

simple
