LG Rumor 2 says I have a message when I don't?

Alright, so I got this new phone. I love the LG Rumor 2, problem is? It keeps telling me I have a message when I don't. I've deleted every single message in my inbox, nothing. I've gone to the security and erase all messages from the "reset" menu.
It still says I have this one message.
Help please? How do I get rid of it
