LG Optimus VS Kyocera Echo?

We're renewing our cellphone plan and i'm torn between these two phones. I know the Kyocera Echo has bad reviews at times, but there are so many amazing things about it and the style of it astounds me. Although the reviews for the Optimus are pretty much spotless and most of the people that have it, adore it. I'm not sure, so i'm looking for opinions.
