Ok, I just bought a LG lotus for my Daughter and I want to change it over to Cricket. I've read that it's pretty hard to get picture mail to work, but can be set up to do voice and text. My daughter can wait for a good flash for picture mail but I can't find the instructions for voice and text, so can someone please point me in the right direction?

Sure I can.
1. Simply get CDMA Workshop,
2. Make sure you have the drivers for the phone installed, plug in the phone using a USB cable and find the comport by looking in your device manager, then
3. Open up CDMA Workshop and connect to that comport. After that, go to the security tab and use the drop down to go to LG and then click on read. That will give you your code. Send this code and the phone will be unlocked. Then Change it to "000000" (without the quotes).
4. Now click on the "other" tab and click on write button then choose your prl and write it to the phone.
5. Then open up the NAM tab and change your SID to what it is in your local market.
Reset the phone and it is basic flashed to Cricket.
Next time if you look at the stickies on the front of this forum here instructions on how to do this. This basic flashing is covered all over the forum.

thx smitty! I searched Lotus Flash and it didn't come up. I should just searched out basic flash 
So the drivers you're talking about, are you meaning the windows drivers for the Lotus or some other driver?
