LG EnV or Treo 700P at Verizon

I use my current LGVX 8100 to connect my PC to the net (after the appropriate changes to the software), but it's time to upgrade. I was thinking of moving to a Treo with PalmOS to replace my Palm, but want to know if the Treo will allow EVDO connections, and if it's as easy to modify as the LG's.
Any other benefits/drawbacks you know of?
 
You might not be thinking about it right now, but how large are your fingers? I know that when I was doing to research, finding buttons that were large enough for my fingers was a challenge. I wrote off all palm phones because the buttons were simply too small. I settled on the env because of the generous keyboard size as well as the large number pad on the front.

And, of course, the env does all that evdo/customization stuff as well.

The more I read about the Treo, the more I think I will get the enV. Too bad they only make it in two colors, and the upcoming green will NOT be a color I would pick - regardless of what shade of green it is. I would go for a RED one, specially if it was the same color as the dark cherry chocolate. Now I'm just torn between gray or orange - I don't like either all that much, so I will have to get a 'skin' for it, but skins will look odd with the wrong color buttons. What to do, what to do.
