Hi I'm using LG Download Program 1.3.6.3 Pro to flash my UX260 to Cricket but every time i try to load the PRL file i get the attached error message. I'm using the VX8300 DLL like i've read to use. thank you

use the right dl file for the 260.
if im doing a quick talk/text flash on it, i usually change spc to 0's via workshop and load prl via workshop.
if workshop fails for prl loading, i use lg download and had been using the 9900 dll till i obtained the 260dll.

To not_clutch719 I've tried CDMA Workshop and it just tells me it can't connect to the port for my phone, even when i change the com port from 1 to w/e. To krjavi I sent you a pm thank you again for both your help.

is it detecting a LG CDMA USB MODEM on com 1? workshop is not detecting it, something isnt being done right. power cycle phone, replug in, and see if it connects.
if it is having problems, blow out the port with a lil air, or use a toothbrush and a bit of rubbing alcohol to clean the port.
sometimes too, i have to reboot some of the pc's after flashing a bunch of phones.

well im using FLS virtual port and im setting it to the com i want to use one of my phones will connect just fine w/o a problem. i've uninstalled the drivers reinstalled them from diegos' setup (since the ones from the nokia site mess up everything i'll try uninstalling the Nokia that works and try again. port conflict maybe? :befuddled

ok i got cdma workshop to recognize my phone but now i need to get it into dm mode but i can't get Unicdma to change it
so I got the LG into DM mode ect. Now I'm trying with a Nokia 6255i and i'm trying to get the SPC, but getting "Failed.. Phone does not answer" when i try to retrieve it. tried to use Universal, EFS method -> nvm/nvm/nvm_security. also tried Unicdma 2.1, but I get "Failed to switch into DM Mode". Any ideas?

...a thread dedicated to walking you through every phone that you cannot flash when you connect it?
try using your search feature and reading like the rest of us...this board is not for a heapin helpin of spoon feeding...don't that wrong, but you are not posting about things that are hard to find/figure out

actually sir i've looked though the forums and serched google for these things if you have something productive to write or links to where as you say "you are not posting about things that are hard to find/figure out" and why would you even write this i mean this is a help forum not a flame forum if you want that go to 4chan thankyou
what i'm saying is that you need to put in a little work yourself...
there is not always going to be a step-by-step guide for what you want, but i had an 855P06 version 8550 and got wap within 2 minutes...
then i got mms within 5 mins of that...
soon i hope to have an even quicker way to do both with just one soft...
that is all from trial and error, not from asking for it...
i just don't see how you are going to start a tread about on phone (a thread that could have been avoided if you posted your question in an existing thread) and then ask about a totally different phone when you get your answer on the first...
i try to be helpful here, as i was in this thread, but some things just shouldn't be done...
if you read enough, you will find your answer and learn a lot that you weren't looking for along the way.

well thank-you for your more courteous reply than your last. i will post in another thread and see if i can get help there. Its just in other forums they get mad if i pull up an old post/thread. I wasn't aware of the thread etiquette here thank you for making me more aware of it. i will look more into this as well as my nokia. 16 hours and counting lol, but to be honest this is kinna fun to do, as you well know.
