LG Dare wap settings issue

Alright, I edited fileDB using HexEdit to change the 30 to 31, read 0 to 1, for srvMenuAccessable.

Every time I overwrite fileDB with the edited one and turn the phone off and then back on it boots up and then after a minute or so it says Service Not Available. If I restore the unedited fileDB to the phone and turn it off and then back on it starts working fine again but I cannot edit the wap settings. Can anyone suggest some things to try? It seems everyone else isn't having this problem so maybe I'm doing something retarded and obvious that I shouldn't be.

I have the 9100 dll and LG Download. Maybe I'll try to find another dll. It's annoying because it seems to work but service no longer works after I edit it and upload it back to the phone. Bah. I know I'm missing something so obvious that it hurts. Thanks.
 
wap is the internet in english and i have qa lil more complex problem if anyone can help iv tried many different things iv had the dare vx 9700 for a couple weekes i got the flash to cricket but not wap or mms. i have read and read but ever thing is a dead end. i used bitpim and hex editor uniCDMA Qpst and more i just cant find the string in the binary code that needes to be changed, so i can change the info in the ##program9700. i tried to use the vx 10000 and 9900 tutorials but they dont work the dare iv read and got the correct prl but still i just need a lil better guidence for the dare i cant seem to get the other phones tuts to match up with the vx9700 will anyone help please im not a person that has not tried and tried to do it from the forums before aking for help but they just dont connect with the dare vx9700
