LG Dare (cricket) I want to tether. Please help me

I bought a cool little eee pc 1000he from asus with dreams of tethering. I read on a few posts that it was possible even with my flashed LG dare on the cricket network. Well Im a little dispointed and confused and could use some help. The phone was professionally flashed at a store and is suposed to have full capabilities. The phone goes online just fine ( kinda slow online though) but I bought a new laptop and want tpo teather without paying the rediculouse $35 a month for cricket so called broadband. I would purchase it but once they put a 5 gig limit I was pissed. Any ways even if I can tether I wont mind the 5 gig limit since im not paying for it. I looked for apps so I can tether with the dare but im not having much luck. Can some one please take a moment of there time and help a n00b.

P.S. I used to flash back in the day with the ol v3 razors but been out of date since.
 
yes I have evdo with the dare. I own my own buisness (its not a welthy one) and I need unlimited talk which would be about $100 with att not to mention the data plan included. Im kinda durab founded here. I thought this wouldnt be a big thing and there would be others in the same boat but it looks like im in a boat of my own. Not to mention I will also have a 5 gig download limit right? A Awful alot of money to pay in ther course af 2 years do you think?

P.s. I just shelled out $400 plus tax for this phone 3 weeks ago.
 
uhm, almost all carriers have 5gig limits. look at verizon.

cell phones on cricket are limited, tethering IS NOT as fast as a broadband USB card.
 
I can tether my chocolate 2 but at the moment i dont pay the $50 dollar plan yet. I got it all set up ready to go when i up my plan. BTW if u need help trying to see if it works let me know.
