LG Chocolate on Cricket Conversion Problem

I've downloaded LGD 1.3.6.3.....whe trying to run nv edit on the vx8550 the phone power cycles at 77%. I also tried typing 3733929 (i think tonycortes suggested this for lg's in another thread) to get the phone to unlock the efs in order to edit paramtable1. Any other suggestions?

Nevermind.....I just came across a thread where randomwit explains why the newer 8550 firmware won't work with lg download.....
