LG Ally or Droid

I've been looking to buy a new phone to replace my LG EnV2 and these two phones havecaught my attention. I really want an Android phone but I can't afford to pay $200+ for a phone. I'll be using it on PagePlus so I'll have to buy full price for whatever it is. Has anyone had any experience with either of the phones? What would you recommend?
 
If you are looking to use a droid a droid on pageplus I would reconcider you will burn through their data limit quick. Also what droid full retail is less than $200?

You probably need to find one in the used market. If used ones, I would probably go for the Droid, because that can be updated to the latest OS.

Too bad you don't have the Huawei Ideos or that ZTE thing they're selling in Europe. Under $200 bucks retail, for no contact, but you get Android 2.2, albeit in a tiny 2.8" resistive screen.
