LG 9800 "V" programing NAM2? help

i have a LG 9800 "V"..on NAM1 is pageplus and on NAM2 it has a cricket PRL...i would like for NAM2 to be 100% cricket...i have the cricket PRL on NAM2 already i just need to re-program it with my frienRAB cricket nuraber (going to give it to my friend cuz her other phone broke and she has no money right now.)...will *228 OTA work on the LG? if not i will need to know how to program it my self....thanks!

Yes u can do that

1. Set the fone to nam 2
2. Manual program the fone make sure to put in SID for ur local market
3.After reboot *228


Note: u can only set up the LG for one data and mms service so u must make a choice one which u would like to use but u can still use talk and text for that service

my bad ..we must of posted at the same time...after looking at the phones menu system settings i found...SID 5945 ( which is the right SID for my town of Pittsburgh) CH 725 (i dont think this really matters,right?) PRL 1042 (which is a non-EVDO file)....so since i have the right SID and PRL i should be able to do *228 OTA with no issues (OTA should program the phone with MND and MIN nurabers and update the PRL if needed)...if OTA doesnt work which i hope it does, i would need help on programing the phone my self...thanks again for the reply's!!

well we have issues here with otap so we just manually program first then otap works everytime for me

i found out how to program the phone on NAM2 withc cricket everything went through good...now just to get MMS working

mms u need lg download and the vx9800 dll its quite difficult but u must kno u will lose the pageplus net cuz ur setting cricket hdr settings
