LG 8100 vs LG 9800 vs Moto E815 vs Razr V3c (Verizon Service)

Any thoughts? I've seen mixed reviews for each. Not sure how much I like the rubber covers for the earphone piece on the 815. Seems like they'd break easily. Need to get a new phone ASAP. Thanks!

Personally, I think the VX9800 for features. I love the interface, and the inside screen is HUGE. Or the E815 for a solid, reliable phone that I believe gets the best service.

The Razr is just thin, it has no added features, and it doesn't have an external memory source.

Razr = style over substance.

Otherwise, I think it depends on your needs. If you are going to use Mobile Web very much, don't go with the E815. It uses iTap for predective text which doesn't work with Openwave.

If you are going to do much with e-mail or text messaging, go with the 9800. I use it for text message and Gmail access with Openwave.

If none of this applies, it's a toss up between the E815 and the 8100.

Thanks for the insight. I really like the Razor, but don't think it's worth the extra money. I need vibrate, so the E815 would drive me nuts if it isn't that strong, plus the phone feels cheap to me. The VX9800 is cool, but toooo big. With NE2, I get the VX8100 for free. Plus the VX8100 comes with a VX5200 for my sister, which might appease her considering she gets screwed by the NE2 since my phone is the primary one.

Thanks again.

I personally LOVE the VX8100, it's my primary phone, and the vibrate mode is that of a buzz saw.

The VX8100 has the features of the 9800, but a phone you can actually carry.

You cant go wrong with any of these models. Ive had 3 of the 4 you mention, now use the razr and havnt been dissapointed in any of them. The 8100 did have a slight reception disadvantage compared to the moto's. Let us know how you like your new phone.

Turns out the VX8100's weren't available in the store until the 15th b/c of the upgrade. I need a phone ASAP b/c my other one has been broken since before New Year's so I'm going to bite the bullet and spend the money on the razr v3c. How've you liked the razr so far?
