LG 26LC7D remote control will not select AV inputs when DVD is pressed.?

We recently sent the LG 26LC7D in for repairs (dead LCD screen), and when they replaced the screen they upgraded the firmware to the latest version.
Prior to this, if the DVD button was pressed on the remote control, the TV would switch to the AV inputs, and if TV was selected, it would change back to the TV stations.
Now the remote control will not change to the AV inputs when the DVD button is pressed.

How do we program the remote (or the TV) so that when the DVD button is pressed it will select the AV inputs?
