lexus sc300 engine swaps?

i have seen alot of sc300's with the 1jzgtte in it... is that a hard swap?

also, since it has the 2jzge in it cant you just buy forged pistons to lower the compression and put supra turbos or what not on it?

am assuming your in the USA. The Japaness versions (Soarer) came with a 1JZGTE so if you get a front clip, its a pretty straight forward swap with some automotive mechanical and electrical know how. but keep in mind, they do not have any emissions stuff like EGR,etc. for the amount of money you are going to spend on a front clip, you could buy a turbo kit online from a good vendor(careful,there are lot of scams out there) and get alot more horsepower from your stock motor. your 2JZGE is adequet for 550-600 hp, anything above, then only you need forged internals.all you need is a GTE metal head gasket. and the supra turbos will not work on the lexus beacause they have tottally different head designs, but the whole head of course are interchangeble.
