Hey thanks for stopping by. I feel stupid for not researching enough and I also feel stupid because I know ***holes are gonna talk **** when I ask this. Is the RX350 really just a Toyota Highlander with leather seats and wood trim? Yeah yeah the suspension may be softer or whatnot but under the hood...I'm afraid if I open the hood it will say Toyota Highlander on it LOL. I got a 2009 RX350 about 2 months ago and I've heard this highlander thing like 3 times already. I know I paid for the luxury and the brand, but damn, is it really just a highlander?

The Highlander and the RX 350 are both based off of the Camry platform. The current Highlander has the same engine and transmission that yours has. So, in essence, they share several components.

The quality of leather, range of options and quality control are better on a Lexus than a Toyota.

The difference is the ownership experience, dealer experience and customer satisfaction experience will probably be above anything a Toyota dealer would offer.

Yes.

Sorry. I don't know how else to answer this question for you. they both share the same 3.5L engine, transmission, chassis... i think your RX has a lot more guizmos though.
