I have taken it. It is very similar to Zoloft and Paxil. I personally found no difference between the three. I have found all three to work quite well for anxiety, panic attacks, OCD and mild depression. Although they are not all rated for exactly the same things, I found them to treat all four things well. When I was younger I would bounce around with medications trying different ones to see if the grass was greener on the other side, but found no real difference so I went back to Paxil (no specific reason) and stuck with that. I

I take it and have taken most of the stuff that wired has.
Lexapro works ok like the others.
It makes me tired and sediate feeling and I dream more on it.

Thank you for the information. I do get tired on it. I take one at night for now along with other meRAB. I take all my meRAB and I swear in 20 minutes I have to get to my bed!

I am not convinced its the best one I have taken. But I'll stay on it a while
alonger to see.

It makes me really hungry. And it seems to decrease any sexual desire.

Knock on wood so far I have lost weight and the sex drive not bad for me anyways. But at the same time I am slowly trying to take less of the xanax and serzone or nefazadone so we'll see what happens. I'm in the begining stages of all of this and scared I have lived pretty much anxiety free on the xanax. I take 4 a day .25mg and have taken it that way for like 15 years which freaks some people out. I do get my liver checked every 6 months beacause it can be hard on it. The serzone not really sure if that does anything. anyone heard of it or take it? it is very old I guess.

You know all of these SSRI are suppose to boast sarentoin levels. Which in turn
is suppose to make you have more engery and feeling of well being.
All they seem do to for me is maybe calm me down some and sediate me.
I have found any that are that great at least for me.
Currently taking 10mg seem to work the best for me..

I haven't taken Lexapro myself, but a friend of mine takes it and likes it. She was taking it mostly for depression though. She said that she's felt a lot better while taking it. She has put on some weight, but she also does not exercise a lot. She eats a healthy diet. Perhaps she's just not being active enough and it's not the Lexapro itself making her put on weight. Either way, it's about 10 pounRAB tops, so nothing extreme.
