Lexapro vs. Celexa

Tried Effexor XR...blah. Have had great luck with Lexapro, but didn' like the sexual side effects. That being said, it worked for my GAD and I even lost weight. Decided to try it again, but now my insurance won't cover it. It will cover Celexa. I am afraid to try it. Anyone have really good success without major weight gain? Would love to hear positive comments.:confused:
 
Well I just started celexa. I am on 10mg which is not a common dosage (many start off with 20mg). I was on lexapro for about 4 months when my insurance went away and then i had to start taking celexa which I did about a week ago. So far the results arent too bad, but I cant really truly tell because I have been sick with an upper respiratory virus and kidney infection so i feel just terrible. Aside from that I havent heart much about the weight gain. I think lexapro and celexa are very similar in that weight gain should not be too much of an issue as for other SSRIs.
