The T400 has a brighter and bigger screen, a touchpad, an optical drive, and has an ATI discrete graphics card, that while not amazing, is better than the integrated crap the X200 comes with.
The X200 has better battery life and at least a pound and a half, possibly even 2 full pounds, on the T400, and is definitely smaller.
Processor/Price/Anything else is not a decision factor besides what I wrote about above. Its the classic portability versus performance debate, and I want to know if the difference between the models is going to be enough to encourage to make use of the extra portability the X200 would give me.
I have about 30 minutes of subway and 10 minutes walking time both ways, so I would be carrying this thing a lot on a daily basis. I have a powerful desktop at home, so any gaming at home would be done on that as opposed to the laptop.
I'm throwing this out there to people who have either model and would like to sway me in either direction, or to anyone who's had to carry around a 14 or 12 inch laptop anywhere and can tell me if theres a huge difference.
Thanks
