We have our own house with a really big yard, we have had it treated to ward off fleas and ticks and it seems our indoor cat is desperate to have a taste of outdoor life, we don't want her to try escape, would she? we have a fence but it is waist high so she could jump it, I have held her whilst standing out on the porch and sat her on the chair there whilst being really close and always having the door opened in case she wants back in, she jumps from the chair starts sniffing then trying to go downstairs. She also has a harness but I want her to be able to explore slowly and not feel threatened by the fact she cant run back inside when she wants to.
She is Spayed and is little over a year old, opinions please . We open our windows when it is warm but keep the netting down so she cant jump out, she loves sitting there and smelling the wind as it blows past.
