EVERY month is white history month!! Look in the books. Look at the obituaries in the papers.
White achievements"are celebrated everywhere. they are taught in the schools. They are the stuff of national legend.
What we don't teach enough of is the crimes white people have committed against other races to ensure their achievements happened. the murders and rapes of Indigenous peoples, the introduction of small pox and TB, the strychnine put in flour delivered as "aid" to those indigenous peoples. And this happened all over the world...not just in the US. My own country has a white history filled with just the same sort of outrages.
Black History month is about getting the stories that AREN'T told out there. the Tuskegee Airmen being a case in point. If it were not for Black History Month how many people outside of the African American community would know about them??
