FACT. 80% of illegal aliens are from Mexico, only 7 % come from non Hispanic countries. This was the official figures for 2006 so might have changed a bit, although not as much as to say 40% of illegal aliens are not from Hispanic countries.

Since everyone arrived before boarders were formed there was not immigration only migration.
Stating that Mexico once owned large areas of the USA is correct but Italy once own large parts of Europe. I don't see the Italians, who didn't sell the land, moaning about how they have a right to bypass immigration.
Stating that the land was once stolen doesn't make it true. Reread that history book. Mexico rebelled against Spanish rule, and then the poor leadership lead to both California and Texas rebellion. California failed but Texas became an independent country. Texas then joined the USA and Mexico declared war on the USA by attacking American troops in Texas. The USA defeated Mexico and bought the required land off Mexico and also agreed to pay any debt that the Mexican government had with people in regards to these lands.
Most Mexicans are of Spanish decent so are in fact just as European as there northern neighbours.
Illegal aliens do not help the economy, lowing wages, higher unskilled population, non payment of taxes, no insurance mean unpaid medical bills.

It costs less to get to the USA legally (average costs $1500) than illegally (average costs $2300)
Do you really want people who disregard the law into the country.
No control over people entering, meaning Murders, Rapists, serious and violent crime can cross undetected.
The problem is that the Mexican constitution states that Mexicans have the right to travel without hindrance. The USA government having an immigration policy is against the Mexican rights, look how different Mexico treats its north and south.

truth giver - I'm going to put this easily. No land was ever stole, if you have proof I would love to see it. People can live happily together as long as they follow the law.
If we follow your idea and you really wanted to go back far enought then everyone should only be allowed to live in Africa. It sounds silly that one group of migrants have a right of another because they were here first. Whites made it to America before blacks do you believe that whites should have more rights than blacks? I hope you see the stupidity of that argument.
There are a few flaws to your idea.
1 - The areas of USA that was once under mexican control were occupied by a different race of people. Native people from the mexican region rarely mixed with native people from the north.
2 - Most people living in the northern terrorties were Europeans in 1821 - 1845.
3 - In 1845 there was no organised head of the Aztecs.
4 - Currently only 12% of Mexicans are from pure native background. That puts the amount of illegal aliens as being mainly from European background (removes your argument about natives have right of the land).
5 - The area of land was still under mexican control of Mexico after the war of 1845 had finish, except Texas which had declared indipendance in 1836.
6 - The Mexican president, who had been voted in by Mexican people, sold the land to pay of debts and part of the peace agreement.
I could go on about this and the history is interesting but I'm sure you are looking up my points.
