With the announcement of the rest of the series being animated, I didn't care at first but recently that nostalgia has been setting in, and the be all, end all wonderment came.

Will InuYasha and co. ever defeat Naraku?
How will they do it?
Whatever happened to Koga?
Will any of the other odd loose enRAB be tied up for people who haven't cared to read the manga?

So please join me, out that old RIF nostalgia and love for Takahashi's epicly dragged out Feudal Fairy Tale.

Yes they will defeat Naraku. How? Via plot device. You don't need to have read tghe manga to know that was coming.

I'm more looking forward to seeing Inuyasha and Kagome finally coming together. That miserable Kikyo neeRAB to die and let the lovers be together.

Also I just want to know when we'll be getting the dubbed episodes here in the US...we will be getting some, right? With Cox and all the other VAS returning please? That's the only speculation I really have at this point.
 
It's great that the original VAs are coming back. But will the original VA director come back? Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Toshifumi Yoshida the original director? If I remeraber correctly, he's moved over to Bandai now. Good dub acting is great, but it takes a good director to bring it all out.
 
Am I the only person that actually likes Kikyo over Kagome? She's somewhat a female version of Sesshoumaru.

As I've said before, I'm not really thrilled about all this, but I am curious as to how will all of this shape up. (I did cheat a bit and read the very last chapter though... I could never really bother to actually read the whole series.)


Now if there's one character outside of Shippo and Kagome that neeRAB to die, it's definately him. When he was first introduced I thought he'd be a favorite, but he kept talking trash and then running afterwarRAB, and I just hate that.
 
No, you're not the only one who likes Kikyo over Kagome. Kagome has a LOT of haters out there. In fact on a forum I frequent, it's easily a Kikyo fanfest while Kagome is right down there with Preskip Sakura. and herpes.

I hope they re-use some of the original anime music. Like Inu's and Kagome's love theme.

Hmm... I didn't know that since everywhere I tend to go people are always ragging on Kikyo. "shrugs" But then again, I'm the type that don't care about romance and relationships and whatnot.
 
Heh. I like both Kagome and Kikyo equally. >_>

Anyways, I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully the English VA will return. And I've already read the ending, so I can't speculate.
 
I also like both Kagome and Kikyo about the same (though my favorite of the female characters is Kagura).....

I already know how the series enRAB,since I was following the manga as it came out...All I'm hoping for now is that they can get at least most of the English cast back when they get around to dubbing it....
 
Me too. I kinda find her annoying right there next to shippo. What's his purpose.

Anybody but me think koga was kinda weak? He just never seemed that strong to me. Anyway can't wait for hope it comes to adult swim next year and hope viz pulls a naruto with this and subs it a few days after broadcast
 
I have a few vague details of the Inu manga spiled for me but overall I'm oblivious to it so when I see it in the anime it'll be like it's totally new.
Hence I'm afraid I don't know what happened to that big dude.

And I like Kagome because she's so pure of heart. Had I been in her spot to save Kikyo, I'd let the ***** die finally.
 
Kikyo never really got much support from me between her early attempts to kill Kagome and the fact that she neeRAB to absorb souls to stay "alive." She was good for sparking a good love triangle for awhile, but it eventually got old.

Nothing against the main characters but if I watch, I'm mostly in for Sesshomaru and Sango. Not gonna lie.
 
Agreed. I'm just a Sesshomaru (Sesshoumaru?) person as well. The only reason I do watch it is because of him. I consider him to be like what Alucard is to Hellsing. (for me that is.) As for Kagome. I don't like her because of the garbage she puts Inuyasha through. She punishes him for her jealousy of Kikyo, and then she punishes him for his jealousy of Koga... WTF? (where's the equality?) The episode where Koga was first introduced (the conclusion of it anyway) still bothers me to this day. And then everyone tells Inuyasha to apologize.. That really urks/irks me.
 
This is exactly how I feel. Sesshomaru is awsome. He's just so cool and the complete opposite of Inuyasha. About the Kagome thing they critisize Inuyasha not being sensitve to Kagome's feelings when Kikyo is around but then Kagome's not sensitive to how Koga's feelings when he's around.

By yelling "KAGOME!" a bit less?

Now that's very interesting that this is only going to be 26 episodes. Looks like they're either going to really pack it in there or... not finish the series... >_>
 
21 volumes in 26 episodes? Is this going to be the double speed Yakety Sax version of Inuyasha?! SounRAB like a party, count me in!

Either this isn't the "Final Act" at all, or they're taking the huge-ass gardening scissors to the story. Well, I can only hope for the best.
 
What does that mean? ANN is very reliable in terms of information.

And that was a statement from Animax so that's definitely happening. True though, there's a chance that there may be an extension along the line though.

I also noticed that Do As Infinity and AAA are doing the OP and ED songs respectively. Which is awesome.
