I am in Art for Elementary Teaching, and I have to come up with an art lesson plan to teach to my classmates and it has to relate to global peace. My teacher has given me an idea of having the classmates do a drawing/painting assignment of what they think the different is between war and peace - which is a great idea, but I don't want to steal her idea.
I hope to be teaching a 1st grade class someday, so I have to make my lesson plan related to what 1st graders/6/7 year-old children would understand.
I was thinking of doing a project of a watercolor butterfly, but does anyone have any ideas of how I can incorporate global peace into a project like that? or if anyone has another idea that would be so helpful!
Thank you!
