I was watching a thriller movie last night on the satellite. I missed the start, but saw about 85% of the rest.
It was French but with English subtitles. It was quite interesting, about this bloke who murders his wife, then picks his daughter up from her boarding school (she looked at 25!
) to stay the summer holidays at home with her parents.
But her mother isn't there (obviously), and when she asks her father where mum is, he tells her she's left him. But things don't add up.
It's a good movie, but one thing puzzled me. Why did it have lesbian scene!

It had nothing to do with the plot whatsoever. Half way through, the girl (supposed to be 16 but looks about 25!), visits an old friend because she's worried about her mother's whereabouts.
The friend is the typical lipstick lesbian. Long brown hair, blue eyes, great figure, nice face. She works as an artist painting countryside scenes.
Anyway, before you know it, they're snogging then jump on a bed. The door slams and you leave the rest to your imagination.
Nothing to do with the movie, but I have noted a lot of driectors do this sort of 'sit up and take notice' ploy to keep the viewer interested.
