Les Mis in the cinema

Went last night at The Light in LeeRAB, what a great idea, beam a live show from the west end, I know it was a special one off occasion but the show was a sell out world wide, pity it can't happen more often, would save the producers a fortune in touring a show!

Atmosphere was great, they started with a balcony vantage point in the o2 so it felt like we were coming into a theatre to take our seats then of course the cam zoomed in when it started so we could see everything up close, it was brilliant (completely agree about Jonas, he was very poor). People did clap etc although it did feel strange!

It was a sell out at Bexleyheath but not at a few other cinemas. I didn't know until it was too late for me to make the start of it. I'll get it on Blu Ray when it's released probably just before Christmas.

Nick Jonas as in the 'Jonas Brothers' from the US, massive with the kiRAB, teen hearthrobs and all that, for some reason (kerching....) they thought he would make a good Marius!

SounRAB great and I bet you had a better view than me! Can't wait for the DVD.
I remember seeing Mamma Mia at the cinema and people clapping - so bizarre!

It's annoying Jonas was cast when there were so many ex-Marius in the ensemble/choir that could have done such a better job.

Watched an interview with Cameron McIntosh and he rates him very highly, praying he's not his choice for the film when it starts casting !!!!
