How many days pass before BEV adds the cost of the non-returned receiver to his account billing ?

Paperwork from expressvu says 10 days for a replacement can't see that different from a return on a sale..

You have 30 days from the day you receive the ew receiver to return the broken one...

Must be different. In Ontario I got 10 days to return a 6141 on Mar/5/08
before they would charge my account.

The rule is the same for all Bell returns (Express Vu, Mobility, Sympatico, Telephone) all over Canada. When they send you a refurbish unit to replace a broken one yu have 30 days rom the day you receive it to ship the old unit

The only 10 das rule that exist at Bell Express Vu is when you originally suscribe. You have a 10 das period during which you can cancel whithout penalty. After that 10 days if you cancel you will have early termination charges

Not to argue with you but as I said. I just went through the process March/5/08. Along with the replacement receiver came a letter. Expressvu stated in writing I had 10 days to return the receiver or it will be added to my account. They supplied the label and the # to call for pickup. It was picked up in less than 1 hour no charge.
Anyhow you will get a letter and label with your replacement.

Just had my cell phone replace to cell care plan, and the compagny responsible for the replacement is the same as for dish care. The agent told me I had 30 days to return the broken phone, and when I said same as EV then he said yes, we are the one replacing EV receivers too.

The letter also states 30 days

I will try to find the papers I got when I had my 5900 rental replaced and try to post them here...

I don't know about your cell phone but my letter in front of me dated Mar/4/08 from Bell Expressvu states I should send the receiver to National Electronic Service Assoc .
"If the defective receiver is not returned within 10 days from the receipt of your replacement receiver, you will be charged the full retail price of the replacement receiver."
If you like I will scan the letter and forward to you.
Bell Expressvu Form letter L4-E WAR RCVR

I had a rental remote replaced last year and I had the same letter from nesa saying I had to return the old remote within 10 days.

I have split this thread.

Perhaps the letter says 10 days but Bev internally waits 30 days before charging to avoid a having to credit back the money to customers.

I call about every three weeks. I get promised a box. No box arrives. I call again.

The last time I exchanged a rental (defective) unit, I returned it right away AND STILL GOT CHARGED FOR NON RETURN. It took 2 months to get that straightened out, and all I have is a still $150 credit on my all in one bell account.

I finally found the return papers I got when I had to return my defective 5900...to my surprise paper does say the unit must returned whithin 10 days!

As an agent I always heard that client has 30 days to return a receiver after he received the replacement one or after he cancelled the account

As a client I was told by the agent I had 30 days to return the uni when my receiver broke (last summer)

Perhaps, as Hugh mentionned, they put 10 days on the paper, but don't charge until 30.
