I just bought an 88 honda civic from a personal owner. The car acted great in his hands but two days after we bought it, the car has stopped working. We haven't even driven it, it sat at the shop waiting for monday to arrive to have the tail-light wiring replaced. We decided to pick it up early before it was even looked at and then just bring it back on monday but it died before than. So, does the lemon law exist for personal owners and sellers, if not, is there a law that covers it?
