I'm writing an instruction paper on how to build this lego set, but not sure how or what terms to use. (college by the way). Here is a picture of what it will look like

so far this is what i got
Step 1: Place white 2x4 on bottom left corner.
I dont know what term to use to say 1 block up any suggestions?
gotta sound more technical if you know what i mean
