I'd like to start a blog that offers advice on creative writing, gives constructive critique on short stories and novel excerpts, and features exceptional pieces of work from amateur and aspiring writers.
My concern is that, in the process, I might accidentally mess up the publishing rights of the writers, preventing them from publishing their story professionally in the future.
Can someone knowledgeable in this area tell me whether or not having a piece featured on such a blog would constitute as being 'published' or would writers still retain all rights to their work?
