Legal One Piece Streaming Canceled Indefinitely due to leak (update: uncancelled)

that's what i was talking about. If the On Piece dubbing gets canceled i'll give up completely on it ever doing good here and just stick with supporting the original version by buying japanese products and what not.

Only here is the thing the fansubbers that beileve that all dubs suck also believe that all offical subs suck. I talk to those people alot. They believe that subs done by the likes of FUNi or Viz are inferior to the subs done by fans.

Really there is NO way this will push for a new TV deal. One of the reason these online streams were started was because TV deals weren't comming. They were an alternitive to TV deals that did not exist and were harder to get.

So one guy who was impatient leaks an episode a day early and one of the 3 "professional" comapanies freaks and temporaly cans a stream? This is the internet, expect anything popular to be stolen, apparently one of these 3 stooges didn't expect that though. Whats the big deal about leaking an episode though?

Arrgh! What is it with annoying fanboy hackers and their need to ruin things for the rest of us? The devil take them all and their culture of self-entitlement.

Whoever did this should realize they won't get away from the law forever. And when they are caught, they should be locked in a jail for many a year while they contemplate their selfish, greedy and irresponsible behavior.

It is preferable that leakproof is the standard but I think it's a much higher priority with One Piece premieres because in Japan it is on the level of something like what Spongebob in America. It's a franchise property over there. Is Phantom?

What a fan will or won't watch is almost besides the point. A fan who is willing to sit through subtitles or crappy resolution or both just to see it a day early- One Piece is their drug and their home is filled with licensed product. That, or they're living in a part of Japan which does not get the show broadcast at all- and this is just the digital equivalent of Japanese rental outlets which record shows off tv for sale and rent.

It was leaked before the japanese airing.

Toei had to practically be begged by funi for a simulcast.

The problem is that it was not a "genius hacker". The person who uploaded it didn`t even have to be the person who discovered this. After reading how the episode was accessed, it is actually laughably easy to see the episodes before being linked on the site.

It's not FUNi's fault, or Toei, at all.

It's that fan, so why are there some people blaming FUNi? Many people are saying security, but how?

Also, if Toei gets mad at FUNi for this, they're idiots, because FUNi didn't do anything wrong, it's just some random fanboy.

Heck, for all we know the motivation was to cause something exactly like this to happen... There are LOTS of people out there who hate all anime fans and want to see they squirm... just go to 4chan.

4chan is a board used to post images and discuss anime and manga. The majority of people like anime, even if they don't admit it. The board has some identity issues.

Episodes 1-6 of FMA are on FUNimation Youtube here (1-4 are Youtube Shows quality). I'm guessing they're off at FUNimation Video since the problem here is specific to that service. But no, no 7-8 yet.

(Me earlier in the day)

"Yes FUNi, I know. You're doing same-day airings. You are awesome. I get it, Please stop making the darn banner come up every site I go to. I'm starting to get sick of seeing Usopp's face. And why isn't Zoro there?!"

As opposed to the nonexistant security they had before.

they need a full IT team to revamp the system. You know, or just NOT UPLOAD THE EPISODE TO THE SERVER UNTIL THE TIME.
