Originally, I was going to avoid this since like with Naruto I didn't want to watch the most current subtitled episodes just to continue following the franchise. However, because this show now has over 400 episodes, and because I'm slightly more interested in One Piece than I am over Naruto, I decided that this was a special case (and also because outside of the occasional U.S. video game, the franchise is pretty much finished here in the U.S., or am I mistaken?). Also, until today, I didn't know Funimation was going to stream the show in three different places (from the beginning, from 391, and with the current episodes). Assuming that wouldn't be the case, I just read the summaries on Wikipedia, and quickly went through all the OPs and ERAB on You Tube, all so I could "catch up". Now I feel kind of stupid for doing all that...
Incidentally, I have a question. You know that English "TO BE CONTINUED" bumper the show uses? Was that from the Japanese version originally, or was it an "overlay" created by Funimation? The reason I ask is because, when I saw episode 1 (subtitled) on the One Piece site, it ended with a Japanese language bumper saying "TSUZUKU" in same oversized font as the English one, whereas I saw episode 391 (subtitled, of course), and it ended with the English bumper.
