Legacy Super 9 - Going HD, should I change?

It appears you were misinformed even more. Since the $5 increase in the legacy packages, customers can make changes to their old packages without switching. There are still some HD channels that are not available to legacy customers though. OTOH, there are HD channels included with the legacy HD package that are extra with the new packages. What a tangled web EV weaves.

Expressvu probably have a sample of somebody that once broke even so they can use this claim. Common sales pitch that covers the behind .

The question is, do you need or want every channel in your old legacy package? I recently changed to the new packaging, and am happy with the trade-off - I'll watch more of the channels I gain than I did of the channels I lost. My estimate is that this change will cost me between $0 - $3 per month, depending on how they treat my credits...although I'm a longtime holdout like many here, my overriding factor was I wanted to add new channels - particularly as I now have HD!

They could, but since prior to that we were told not to, most agents will tell the client to go Legacy instead

Again Vister I didn't say that all clients will benefit from it...in your case it migt be more expensive

Take the example of this client I had tonight. He was French and had:

Local
Network
Le monde en fran

Cheaper because it is the French package?

Of course you would think it worth it...you work for them!!!! LOL

Vis

The French base is 26$ versus the English base which is 31$... To make sure that client will be getting all the same channels I added Partout au Canada for 3$ and Networks for 5$

Since client had the 4 French themes + 1 English the Networks became free

And so was my client... He was just mad that we didn't tell him about Genesis programming before yesterday

If it doesn't make sense it doesn't if it does, it does. Bell Express Vu is not even the one who gavs me my pay, the sub contracted compagny is. Because I work for a sub contractor I have to pay my Express Vu at the full price, just like you all do

Not me and I DO NOT work for Express Vu....lol

Your Company should approach them and negotiate a deal.....

...we'll see about whether my bundle credit is $5 or $8.98 per month. Three events conspiried - the result of which is that moving to the new packages makes sense for me now:

1. BEV recently increased their system fee.

2. BEV recently realized that they had "forgotten" to charged me the additional receiver fee.

3. I wanted to add channels - in particular, I'm trying out "Le monde en fran

...a bit off topic, but I'll bite :)

I've considered splitting things up, but right now I've got:

1. Long Distance flat rate across North America $5/month + $4.50 network charge

2. Internet - Sympatico HS Express for $37/month

3. Cell - PC mobile Pay as you go - light use - $25/every two months

1. Visa has a free long distance plan. Rates per minute are comparable to the cheaper long distance plans from other companies.
2. 5 Mb DSL is available fro $30/mo from independent ISPs. I don't know what "Express" is but if it's the 0.5Mb service, that is available for $25/mo from other ISPs. (Modem must be purchased but that works out cheaper in the long run.)
3. Can't beat that with current PAYG plans. I have a grandfathered plan so it costs less.
