Leg Pain Again

Hi all. I am 3 months post op from a 360 fusion w/hardware. My pain is livable but my legs are giving me trouble again. They still get very weak and it feels like I might collapse. I am getting some nurabness and my hips still hurt. My doctor thinks I might have bursitis now and wants me to get some shots. Anyone out there have surgery and still have the leg pain. I know it's early yet and I am starting PT but they feel so weak. Can it be another disease hurting my legs? Like MS or something. Wouldn't they have seen a possibility of that. Linda

You ae very early in your healing yet. The leg pain is common as you heal. The nerves were moved around and they don't appreciate it and will cause flare ups for several months as they settle down. It takes time to heal from a 360 (been there, done that, got the T shirt). Starting PT will also make you feel weak. It takes alot to have the surgery and it takes alot just to get about day by day. You need to have patience. It takes up to a full year to recover from this type of surgery you know. And the more you do, the more tired you feel and the weaker you feel. Pace yourself.....
