Some questions for you. I don't claim to be right or left. I am me.
1) Is it okay to cut down trees? Why or why not?
2) If your concerns are legitimate and not just a trend, then why can I spot you from a mile away. It seems to be more of a social thing.
3) Why would one become a vegetarian when we are omnivores and have canine teeth in order to tear food. It doesn't seem natural to deny ourselves what we are clearly designed to do. I thought that was one of your main characteristics; love of nature.
4) If your cause is so important to you, then why are you contributing to the polution. Why do you seem content in just consuming less
resources. You still drive cars, but because yours get a few more miles per gallon, you figure yourself to be an environmentalist. Why judge yourselves on the curve? Why not live like aborigines? Then you would be true to your belief.
5) Do you realize that when you try to save a species, you are interfering with evolution? Survival of the fittest ring a bell?
I think some are good causes and have their place, but I think your movement is out of control. I don't own a car. I walk a lot or ride my bike. I don't use a lot of electricity or running water. I even own a solar panel to charge batteries for my flashlight, cell phone, lantern, and mp3 player. In no way do I associate myself with you. I don't consider myself left wing or liberal, or any of that. So, what is up with all that extremism? Not everything is black or white. Neither is it always left or right. As I stated part of my lifestyle, I also own a gun, a few to be exact. I hunt. I believe in upholding the laws of the land, and I believe strongly in the Constitution and Bill of Rights. So why is it that you compromise the practice your belielfs when it is not in your best interest, but you come off as super extreme patriots of nature?
No, dude. I was just stating a general observation. Not all fall under every stereotype. The main point is that some of the 'left' beliefs are too extreme and that the majority do not practice what they preach unless it is convenient.
