sounds like you got ripped off. thats a plasma screen. they are easy to break, especially while moving them. Id suggest getting your money back, and buying an LCD.

i bought a plasma a panasonic 42pwd7uy from a guy and it shows the whole picture on the left side of screen but the right side is blank... stuck that way.. is there something in the menu that fixes that? i have no remote...or is there something i can replace i know someone with a broken one the same model that the screens busted on so maybe i could switch something out
